Key Governing Bodies & Officials:

  • Chancellor: The Governor of Bihar is the ceremonial head of the university.
  • Vice-Chancellor: The principal academic and administrative officer. The current Vice-Chancellor is Prof. (Dr.) Shashi Pratap Shahi.
  • Pro Vice-Chancellor: Assists the Vice-Chancellor. The current Pro Vice-Chancellor is Prof. (Dr.) V. N. Singh.
  • Registrar: Responsible for administrative functions. The current Registrar is Dr. Ravi Prakash.
